For some reason it just doesn't bother me to show the mistakes as well as the accomplishments. The bargello I am making now has given me a lot of humility. I have 20 something rip out hours in, some beards on the back side seams, it may not be square on one corner, there are some skip stitches in the quilting seams,
And when it is finished I am going to show it with pride because I feel like there are 100's of us who have finished a quilt with imperfections and it makes us all feel better to know not everyones work turns out perfect every time. (I am still striving for my first time and I learn something on each quilt.)
I do feel surrounded by people who care about the things we post. I love the Quiltingboard.
