Thank you all so much. The pattern calls for fusible web appliqueing. I quilted it using my sewing machine.. It took a bit of patience to cut out all the details for the trees, but I love the way it looks.
A funny story on where we got the pattern. Mom and I were hanging out at the LQS, I saw the pattern and pulled a, "Mommy, Mommy, can I have it?" in the middle of the store. Mom picked up the pattern and we started that night with it.
