I have adopted a group of 6 from work. None had quilted before, more than half had never sewn a stitch. They are turning out some wonderful stuff. We've done quilts, bags, and pot holders. One of the girls made a cane cover for one of our clients that uses a cane. We are all having a ball. The big thing here is that any time we get a visitor and they say they "can't" everyone here jumps up to tell them, "yes you can".
Great what you are doing at work! Yeah I agree that everyone can quilt. Before I took up quilting classes 3 years ago, I had not sewn or touched a sewing machine for more than 20 yrs!! LOL. The last time I did was during my sewing classes in school. To date, I've completed a baby quilt, some table runners and other small projects.
