The series of books called "Laps from Fats" by Ellen Replagle -- there's about four different books and they all use fat quarters, layered and cut exactly the same way!

I love these books! The quilts produced are very scrappy looking and go together easily.

There's Laps from Fats, More! Laps from Fats, Laps from Fats for Family & Friends, and Star Savvy Laps from Fats.

Below is a picture of Star Whimsy from the Star Savvy book. I made mine a row bigger than the one in the book, but it called for 16 fat quarters (I used 20 -- 1 per block), some yardage for background and borders. What fun! I used my fq's and shopped my stash to finish it up.

There's several on my list to use up my all-too-huge collection of fat quarters, collected over the last 15 years of quilting! Sigh.

Blessings!
