I can tell you that the Jane Stickle is doable! You will not be 101 years of age when it gets done. I am not 101 yet(well, OK, knocking on the door maybe! ha ha)Your fabric will be lovely in the Jane!
(Not that advice was asked but gonna suggest anyway! :) )
What I did was to lay out 13 fabrics(I believe there are 13 blocks across) in a color arrangement that pleased me, next to each other.
I made those 13 blocks, with out thinking of any other rows, blocks, or thinking: "SCREAM, I have 250 million more to do"!)
Then I layed those out in the line as they would be in the quilt & chose 13 more fabrics that pleased me in the arrangement of Row B & the Row A made above.
I did the entire quilt this way. I purchased fabric as I went & I used muslin. The beautiful CW Repos were not that readily available as what we have now.
If you concentrate on ONE ROW at a time , rather than the whole quilt, it does not overpower you! After the first row, you kinda learn how to put together the small blocks .
That is my daily advice & it is worth 21 cents. ha ha
I KNOW you can do it!!!!!
