go through paypal, i think they have some kind of insuranse thing. i bought a juki and frame on ebay, and no problems, BUT she had a great feedback and that meant it was good for me..
i did sell a diamond ring once, and i used a third party to hold the money/ring until i was satisfied with the transaction..that was years ago..but I felt safer doing it that way, because it involved alot of money. good luck! happy sewing!
