I googled 'warm wishes' and found a free pattern, I think your fabric is a) absolutely gorgous and b) would lend itself very well to that pattern - you could swop the fabric around to give a different look, your grandaughters are very lucky!!
I too have done that, found some fabric but no pattern!! ha ha think it is a common occurance with quilters
