The instructions for it were from the book, "Twist and Turn Bargello Quilts". We expanded the pattern so the quilt would work as a bedspread.
I do not particularly care for orange, but it did grow on me! I picked up the 24 different fabrics while on the Western Washington Shop Hop.
Yes, his room GLOWS! The ceiling is bright yellow and I am constantly thinking he left his light on.
It was surprisingly easy to make and my daughter has one picked out for us to do in teals and blues.
:D :D :D Oh I see you are in Wa state. I live in Port Angleles, Wa and it is nice out. Are you enjoying the rain we are getting??? We sure do need it as it has been dry over here. I sure wish the Quilted Strait hadn't moved to Port Gamble. any way, I went to the Bay Variety this a.m. and they have fabrics there and I found packs of FQ for $5.98 and I want to make a quilt, but a diffrent pattern. I have to wait til Friday or Saturday to start it tho as I get paid then, but I also want to make a bargello quilt so I guess I can start collecting the colors I want when ever fabric goes on sale at Joanns. Our Walmart is moving across the street and they will be discontinueing thier fabrics so hopefully I can go there and get some fabrics on sale before they get moved. There is a pretty one in the book I have that a bargello can be made in blocks and sewn together. My nephew likes oranges too and I made him a wall hanging for his place. Have a great day, Huggies, Fay
