Well, if you really want to know...

I tend to go for bright bright colors and pastels. Hmm. I don't enjoy working with shades and my stash shows that. I like the nice 'clear' colors. (I guess I'm not as country as I thought.) I have two boxes of florals and two boxes of most colors but only one of purple and pink. I have learned the last couple of years to buy less focus fabrics and more tone-on-tones.

I made a quilt for my daughter and she chose a shaded rose color fabric. It was the hardest thing for me to work on because it was outside my 'comfort zone.' I know it's good for us to "s-t-r-e-t-c-h" ourselves but it hurt!!! And it took forever to finish the quilt. Today I'm working on a small red and white quilt wall hanging. Bright, clear and so pretty! :-)
