Your health is too important to dwell on this unfortunate incident-chalk it up to being too trusting and contact the Grace company. We deal with them where I work, they are always very helpful-tech support is awesome! Agreed you will probably have to spend more $ for new rails, but your new frame will hopefully more than make up for the aggravation! Good luck-with frame-and health!
