i purchased a bom from keepsake quilting a baltimore album - with backing & all i have invested ove $500. only have approx 4 blocks done b/c i had to stop & do baby quilts - the reason i did that is... i have no stash to speak of and i live 50 miles from the nearest joanns one way and 100 miles the other way. as God is my witness - I WILL FINISH that quilt. i also did a lock of the month from joanns at 2.98 or 3.98 each packet - bought it in 2006 or 07 and finally completed it in 2009. really enjoyed it - not quilted yet but i have a cousin in law that has a longarm - so...i really don't care if everyone in the county has one like it - they're not in MY house, so there... most of the blocks were machine applique - but i do it by hand - enjoy the hand work!
