I have a cutting table similar to this one: http://www.cooking.com/products/shprodde.asp?SKU=795503

This link shows it folded up: http://www.amazon.com/Retraact-It-77.../dp/B000JZ3KDK

I got mine at Ace Hardware. It will fasten to the back wall of your guestroom closet. You can keep all of your rulers, scissors, etc., on the pegboard back and, when a guest comes, you just fold it up against the back wall of the closet. Your guests have a closet and, when they leave, you just unfold your cutting table and you're in business again.
