First, spray it down with a 50/50 solution of Hydrogen Peroxide and water. When it stops bubbling rinse it first with hot, hot water, and then with cold. Let it dry. When it is completely dry gently spread some bamboo oil or other food grade oil made for cutting boards on it. From here on out if you do that once a week, those little fuzzies will go away and never come back. Mine is 17 years old. 8-)
