So I made up a top and loved the pattern so much I made it again the next week. But this is what happened - when I framed each of the blocks with the dark purple strip, the blocks had stretched and now they dont sit flat. :cry: I cut the dark purple strips exactly to the right size. I think that perhaps the light pink fabric was not as good quality as the fabric I had used on the first quilt top, and that is why it stretched.
Without unpicking it, is this salvagable? Will it sit flatter after I quilt it? I cant get onto anything else until I decide what to do with this one. Help please!
