Because those "quilts" are mad with cheap labor and even cheaper materials...and they start falling apart after the first wash! What really gets me is when the quilts I make get compared to them! :evil:

I have a relative that wants me to make her a quilt, she did offer to pay for 'materials' only (lol) but when I told her what it would cost she got upset & said "I can buy one cheaper than that at WalMart!"
I told her to go buy it then! :twisted:
