In Franklin, there is also a huge quilt shop called Stitchers' Garden. Sorry, I do not know the address, but it is on a side street off of Highway 96 near Interstate 65.

The Carter House is a great place to tour and will give you a sense of what it was like during the Civil War. Carnton is also another huge home to tour with a cemetary of both Northern and Southern soldiers buried there.

There is also a really old cemetary just off of Hillsboro Road, between 3rd and 4th Avenues. Monuments from the 1700's.

The downtown area has lots of great tourist shops.

As you have probably guessed, I grew up in this area.
