Hi and welcome from Washington state. What a beautiful quilt! I am going to be on Maui this month from the 19th to the 26th and plan on doing a hawaiian quilt class. What is your favorite quilt shop to go to? I have been to Maui almost a dozen times so this time I will be doing more quilt shops than anything else. You will enjoy this board very much. Warning tho it can addicting.

The best fabric store on Maui is "Sew Special" at the Queen's mall. There is another fabric store "Discount Fabric Warehouse" not far from the mall: 230 Hana Highway in Kahului also. Have fun in your class & enjoy the gorgeous Sept weather on Maui.
I'm actually from WA state - I live in the San Juans June - August. Headed back to Maui in 3 days.....
There are quite a few of us from Washington on here. The San Juans are gorgeous. I live between Bremerton and Poulsbo so lots of water here too. Hope you have a safe trip back to Maui and I will definitely check out those shops.
