I'm just now hand quilting my 2nd quilt. I need to mark the 1/4 seam allowance when quilting around my squares. I've tried the pencils, etc but sometimes they are hard to see on dark material or prints. Has anyone used the tape and if so did you have any problems--i.e. leaving residue on the material when you pulled it off. Also, can it be used on batiks without damaging the material?
