Featherweights prices vary alot upon locations. I have had problems twice in buying machines through Ebay or Craigslist. Both issues had to do with poor shipping techniques of the shipper. The repairs on the first one equaled to the cost of the machine. The second one has yet to be determined. If ordering by mail, make sure it is professtionally packed. If at all possible, buy locally and inspect it yourself before purchasing. It may be a little more expensive, but it saves wear and tear on you.
