How do you figure out how much fabric to get for a warm wishes quilt? I'd use one focus fabric and 3 piece rail blocks with 3 different fabrics. It's for a twin sized bed. How do you begin to do this? Also - how do you figure out how much for borders? Maybe a 3 inch inner border and 5 inch outer border? Is there some kind of formula for such things?
