My tomatoes are finally turning red. We have had a cold summer with not enough heat and the tomatoes were really late this year.
We had a cold summer last year and our tomatoes didn't do very well at all. I ended up just pulling the plants up. But this year is great! It is just now turning cool, I think from the hurricane that hit Nova Scotia. We always get the tail winds from hurricanes that hit along the east coast all down through Texas. This is the first time I have known Nova Scotia to get one but it brought in a lot of cold air with it. We are suppose to get more warm weather. But I think I am just going to make mincemeat out of the green ones I have left.
