I'm not one to be advising, but what I can say is what I'd do, and I'd do one of two things if it's for sale:
1. I wouldn't offer if for sale.
2. I'd replace the binding -- not the whole binding, just the section that was damaged. It'd be a real pain in the neck though.
If I had time, I'd replace it. If I didn't, I'd scrap it.
That's just what I'd do.
If you really, really want to sell it without replacing it, sell it cheap and if anyone asks why, just tell them there's a small damaged spot on it and let them try to find it.
