I have a 8ft. table and a 4ft table that I need to raise to a better height for cutting and ironing. They are the ones made by Lifetime got them at Sams got them a few years ago for extra tables for get togethers but now they are turned into a cutting table and designing,and a ironing table.
I bought the 6 ft folding tables at walmart. I think some call them banquet tables. My hubby cut 12 inch pieces of pvc pipe and slipped it under the legs and the height is perfect. I am 5ft 6in. tall. The tables are VERY stable. In fact are up right now in the middle of my livingroom so I can pin some quilts and also have my cutting mat there to cut fabric. The grandbabies love to play under the table. lol My back is extremely bad and would never be able to do any bending so I love this set up. My daughters boyfriend thought it was weird...yeah, I saw him looking at my table with a weird look, but he got it. The bedrisers did not lift the table high enough for me.
