Good for you!! Can't imagine sewing lame on the bias. I hate working with it, frays so much is is just miserable to work with. But it does look nice!
First off, the lame is backed with woven fusible interfacing --then it is all cut in WOF strips -- all three fabrics. Only bias edges are on the triangles and they are easy. Lame is woven so not really any more difficult than the cotton other than in the pressing and needle choice --I use metafil when working with it.
