My husband got COPD from welding. The shop where he once worked had no exhaust fans. The smoke would be so bad they had to stoop down about 2 ft. from floor and look to see if anyone was coming before they moved. His lungs are black not gray. Gray lungs are from smoking. He also smoked but dr. said his is from the welding. Thank you for caring.
