This is the design wall my husband and I made. It is a piece of installation from Home Depot. It's pink and foamy. Then we nailed very thin pieces of wood around the outside back. Covered with warm and natural batting and stapled to the back wood. Hung it up and it's great. It is 8 x 4 and I can "stick" fabric/blocks to it or straight pin heavy pieces.
