When you hand quilt, do you really quilt in the ditch or 1/4 in. away from it? I thought that it would be be too tough to actually quilt in the ditch by hand. K
I'm following a pattern so some of it is ditch quilting and some of it isn't. I don't like the ditch quilting. It's hard to make the stitches small and it's hard to pull the needle through.
