donnajean, you and I think alike. I always bring my pattern, or the fabric yardage amount with me to my lqs. And I also shop the clearance section. I don't buy anything unless it's on sale either! Most lqs have 'end of bolt' sales, so you need to ask them when you arrive at the store. My lqs has one the last buisness day of the month, and it's 40% off of what is left on the bolt. So be ready and do some research work- or call ahead. Have a great time!
