I am making a quilt, the top will be made with LQS good fabric, then on the back, instead of traditional batting and backing fabric.....can I use flannel or fleece? It is hot here in Florida, and I want the person I am making the quilt for..to use it.
I know I have to pre-wash my fabric either way I go. I am just wondering what will happen if I put flannel or fleece on the back, what will happen if when I give it away and the person I gave it to washes it.
I plan on having it quilted...if not FMQing it myself.
