Maybe the company upped the quota. That was my interpretation. There is probably more to it.

I owned a Viking as one of my first machines long ago. I loved it and only sold it because I wanted an embroidery machine combo. I'm so glad that my recent purchase was a Bernina and not a new Viking or Pfaff, because although the dealer will support past purchases and warranties, they won't be offering classes for these machines or other goodies in the future.
