How heavy is the fabric that you are trying to cut? If you are trying to cut something like denim, two layers at a time is good. You should be able to cut twice that amount of medium weight fabric, though. It is possible that your rotary cutter blade is dull. That can happen faster than you think. Try replacing the blade with a good quality new blade. Also, make sure that the bolt that holds the blade is tightly fastened. The nut on my favorite rotary cutter works loose easily.The slight wobble, that I can't even feel, causes difficulty in cutting.
