I have made other blocks, my husband made frames for them, and they were given away as gifts. I did not take any pictures of those. Sorry.
When I taught classes we did our poundings on a 6 X 9 piece of fabric to start with (seems to be less intimidating) and I had everyone put a 5X8 index card under to center their work. Then they filled the area to their liking, traced everything with a permanent fine point pen (Sharpie or Pigma), signed their masterpiece, cut it down to size, and then framed them.
