Must have something to do with the copper! We had to have a new leach field dug a couple of years ago because of roots. When they put the new one down they said copper would keep roots from growing back in the drain field. I had a roll of small copper tubing I had gotten at a yard sale. We cut it into sections and put it in the area where we had problems before....So far so good!
