When I clean my oven racks I use a large garbage bag, placing my racks inside and pouring in the liquid & cleaner I'm using & then I just roll the open end a couple of times & place several clothes pins along the edge. Lay it flat on the patio for a while. I'm thinking this would work with the large cutting mats also, don't you think?
as long as you keep it out of the sun, should be ok
