One of the ways I get the lint from batting and other difficult fabrics off of my cutting board is to take a small square plastic ruler, turn it on edge and scrape the cutting board. It doesn't take out all of the fuzzies, but does clean it up considerably. I am going to tread my several cutting boards as it sounds like it does help.
