I use any colour, for one of my niece's quilt, I wanted to make her a black and white quilt, and she wanted a rich purple in it! NOT alot of rich purple so I added a small amount to each block. I was not sure what it would look like, and it turned out beautifully, that has given me a whole new outlook on each and every colour!
