even when i lived in Washington state right across the river from Oregon, i did not cross the river to save on sales tax, i paid my taxes as required by law.
Thank you. It's not like the merchants have any control over the taxes. Ok, well, we do... we get to vote, just as our same-state neighbors/customers do.

(Ummm... I *did* vote, and it hasn't helped lower taxes yet. )
