This is my very first quilt top. It is from 2 Moda "Portugal" jellyrolls, and the 'solid' border and quilt back are from a 108" Moda fabric (not ''Portugal".) What looks like peach solid backing/border is actually a cream/peach small paisley print. The pattern is the "Serenity" quilt from the book "Strip Happy _ Quilting On A Roll" by Donna Kinsey.
I think it made a very good and easy first quilt.
NOW-- to quilt it! Not sure what I'm going to do there! Been talking to my newly adopted "Quilt Mom", Patt, from this board to help me figure out what to do. It has to be easy! I played around with some scraps and batting this weekend and I am most definitely NOT ready for FMQ! LOL!

Also, in the close ups, it looks like one block is WAY off in size, one end to the other. It isn't. I had the quilt draped across a chair for those pics and it looks funny. My husband had held it up for the full pics, but lost interest and went back to his grill!
