White sashing eliminates that enhancement. For future blocks, in order to maintain an all white background why not just increase the size of the finished block and eliminate sashing altogether? I go with the yellow because it's a nice contrast and also blends with the center of each of your flowers. You have some other very pretty colors that would blend well so you really have a nice choice..
