I recently noticed that some of the R. Kaufman fabric has been very thin. I also had a new Hoffman that was not printed on the same high quality base fabric they are known for it was noticably thinner... and priced at the "new" high price. These are not isolated to online. I have "seen" and touched in the local quilt shops and can say that the older fabrics are thicker.
Its a shame that the manufactures are resorting to reducing the quality... and its some of the top names in the industry.
