I'm sorry for your accident. New York has a bad reputation sometimes about people being afraid of or unconcerned about people they don't know. It's a safety thing I guess. It is so refreshing to hear that someone took the responsibility of caring for you after you fell. There are many other places in this country and the world where you would have been on your own.
