Welcome to the quilting board from your northern neighbour. Just to let you see that although we all agree on quilting being a highly preferrable activity, we all do things a little differently. I was taught to make continuous bias binding and double it for added wear-ability on quilt edges. Here's a link to how to make it. I love it.
