The shops mostly work on projects designed for them, and prepared for them. The embroidery is nice, they just didn't know to use a stabilizer under the fabric. After YOU (you know the work involved, they don't) take out the embroidery, use an iron on interfacing, wash away or tear away, stabilizer that YOU put in place, under the areas to be embroidered. The pieces of stabilizer can be ironed on, or just 'tacked in the corners" out of the way. Follow the directions on the stabilizer package for how to use it. Good luck. I hope this helps.
