I have been lurking for a few weeks...love all the tips and quilt pictures. I have sewn since I could reach the old non electric singers foot pedal on my mom's old machine. I currently have an old Kenmore that is not working due to a lab accident. My yellow and black labs were chasing each other and knocked over my machine and sewing table. :cry: My aunt is buying the new Janome, she has it on layaway and I will get her old one. I thought I would be fine waiting, but am going through severe sewing withdrawals. I have 4 kids ranging from 25 down to twin 5 year olds...(they were my suprise 2 for 1 special) and 1 grandchild. I have 3 labs, one in each color. I think its a crossover from the can't help myself when I see a pretty colored fabric.....labbies are pretty in all the colors. I love applique...my avatar is my second quilt I ever made. I look forward to chatting with all my new quilt buddies!
