I was considering one of the Clover irons, but kept hesitating. After someone posted the idea of making an ironing board out of a TV tray, I came up with another money saving idea! I had purchased, many years ago, a small travel ironing board and a travel iron. I've discovered, the ironing board fits perfectly next to my machine and I LOVE the iron -- it never turns off on its own and it is hotter than my other "cheap" iron. To remember to turn it off, I connected it to a surge protector. I look in the room before going anywhere or to bed, and if the light is on, I switch it off.
Unfortunately, the iron I purchased isn't available anymore....BUT, here's a page of irons:

In researching -- looking for a picture of the iron and ironing board I ran across this:
