I have JRA (juvenile rheumatoid arthritis)which I always find funny since I am 44 years old.
It is different to RA so I am not much help except to say there are so many new treatments available that you should be able to find something that helps.
A friend has RA and his doctor (which is also my doctor) is always happy to try something else if the medication either doesn't work or stops working, so the only advice I could give you, is find a doctor who listens and works with you to find what works for you.
