I don't have it but my husband was just recently diagnosed with it - He has painful swollen hands too - we thought it was the carpal tunnel surgery he went through in March - but surgery was good just has RA. Right now they treat it with medication - varys among people and Dr.s I think the best part is just knowing so you can treat it. I hope you feel better soon.
