I just finished this king size quilt with matching pillowcases.
They wanted all the 'action' to be on top of the bed, not in the outer borders.
So it's a Lemoyne star center within a Feathered Star medallion, then diamonds on point in the inner border.
Because I don't have a LA and frame I had to do a sort of QAYG. I pieced and quilted large sections and then joined them together.
The quilting doesn't show in the photo but I FM'd the center and channel quilted the outer borders.
They asked me to make them another one.
I told them maybe next year. lol
