The Sacrament of Holy Communion in the Catholic Church is in accordance with the teachings of Jesus, according to the Holy Bible, when he shared bread and wine with the Apostles at the Last Supper and said, "This is my body... When Catholics receive Communion we believe that through the miracle of faith we are receiving Jesus into our souls by sharing the transformed bread and wine. It is only a wafer until it is consecrated by a priest it is not a miracle of faith it is the true Body and Blood once the conseration is preformed.
