I finished my Aloha Quilt, made from a pattern and fabric based on the Elm Creek Quilts novel The Aloha Quilt. The fabric was designed by Red Rooster Fabrics, and the pattern is available online.

This is a gift for my sister-in-law, whom I'll be visiting in November. She loves Hawaii, reading, and quilts. I'm also giving her the book and a bookmark made from the selvage.

This is the first quilt I've made varying the quilting techniques. I forgot to change the thread (duh!) so the quilting isn't very prominent.
